Recent Find: Cozy Ann Taylor Knit

Sorry for my lack of updates lately...I guess I need to make it a habit of writing on here more regularly if I want to keep my readers coming back! =P Life just gets busy or I'm too tired after work and I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. I was in Dallas for 2 days of training towards the end of last week and am still pooped from that. Maybe this is just a sign that I'm turning into an old lady.
 
Speaking of old ladies, I recently made a pit stop to the Ann Taylor outlet and got an item that is a new favorite of mine...I lovingly call it my 'grandma sweater' and it's so cozy. 
Ann Taylor chunky cardigan (similar here and here) -- F21 coral colored tee (similar) -- no name boot cut jeans (similar) -- Payless cheetah patent flats (similar) -- thrifted Gap leather belt (similar)

    Hehe I like how you're calling it the Grandma sweater...yet it's definitely too fashionable to be worn by a grandma! My motivation for blogging regularly is to have a successful blog! It's really hard to gain a following if you don't do regular posts...I blog 3 days a week, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday.

    karen-- i love your cozy sweater and animal flats! i been looking for flats lately because i don't have any and tim told me i need comfy walking shoes for when i go to NYC. look at the pic of wayne, me and vic. vic is definitely checking out that dessert! nope nope nope, it's my bday and it's all mine!     Karen- I'm in the same boat with you. I have so many idea for a blog and never can get it them because life happen hehe. I love the grandma sweater. It looks so warm and cozy. Perfect for a rain day.

    your sweater looks so cozy! i have no problem with grandma sweaters. they usually have big chunkier patterns that are more attractive than the standard cardis!

    I think you did a great job styling this so-called 'grandma' sweater!  It doesn't look old ladyish at all.  Well...I put all of my outfits together 1 month in advance.  My mom comes up 1 weekend a month and we shoot all the outfit photos within 2 days...  yup you read that right.  I think pre-write all of my posts on the weekend.

    I love your leopard flats! I've been looking for one with a mary jane style, but no luck yet! I'm glad that your sweater was comfortable because usually sweater from AT itches me like crazy!!! I wouldn't reccommend you to force yourself to blog a specific days because that will turn out as a task instead of something you love to do! Plus, i think you are doing a great job already since I tend to visit your blog!

    Karen - you should never feel like you have to apologize for stepping away from the blog every now and then :-)  We all know how hard it is!
    And I love a good grandma sweater!!  I have a few that are like wearing a blanket...and I love it (especially when I lived in Portland and it was rainy and depressing outside...a grandma sweater was perfect!) LOL!

    I know I know...I think after I get a new computer I might be more inclined to post when all my pictures can be uploaded somewhere since I'm still using a beater computer now. haha Grandma sweaters are the best for rainy/cold weather...it's been like that in SF lately too!

    Cha Cha Cha's is the best! I lovee their food and sangria! I wear a lot of grandma sweaters to work. So much that my nerdy male techie coworkers always notice!
