Sorry for my lack of updates lately...I guess I need to make it a habit of writing on here more regularly if I want to keep my readers coming back! =P Life just gets busy or I'm too tired after work and I'm sure you all know what I'm talking about. I was in Dallas for 2 days of training towards the end of last week and am still pooped from that. Maybe this is just a sign that I'm turning into an old lady.
Speaking of old ladies, I recently made a pit stop to the Ann Taylor outlet and got an item that is a new favorite of mine...I lovingly call it my 'grandma sweater' and it's so cozy.

Ann Taylor chunky cardigan (similar here and here) -- F21 coral colored tee (similar) -- no name boot cut jeans (similar) -- Payless cheetah patent flats (similar) -- thrifted Gap leather belt (similar)
I adore the color and print of these flats!
Here are some belated photos from Ping's birthday dinner at Cha Cha Cha!

What is your take on 'grandma' sweaters and how do you motivate yourself to blog on a daily/weekly basis?
Love the outfit. Ann Taylor sweaters are always the best. The one you bought looks so cozy and comfy.
ReplyDeleteI like your Grandma sweater. I motivate myself to blog everyday by carving out time for it and keeping an idea booklet in my purse.
ReplyDeleteHehe I like how you're calling it the Grandma sweater...yet it's definitely too fashionable to be worn by a grandma! My motivation for blogging regularly is to have a successful blog! It's really hard to gain a following if you don't do regular posts...I blog 3 days a week, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday.

ReplyDeleteYeah definitely super cozy! Thanks for the blogging tips!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job styling this so-called 'grandma' sweater! It doesn't look old ladyish at all. Well...I put all of my outfits together 1 month in advance. My mom comes up 1 weekend a month and we shoot all the outfit photos within 2 days... yup you read that right. I think pre-write all of my posts on the weekend.
ReplyDeleteCute sweater! Cha Cha Cha is the perfect birthday celebration spot!
ReplyDeleteLove the knit sweater and great shoes!!
ReplyDeleteI love those leopard print flats! I don't think you look like an old lady at all :)

Thanks Bessie! I'm glad I made it look more young. haha Oh wow that's crazy that you can put together outfits so ahead of time...I'm super indecisive so that probably wouldn't work for me. =P It's an idea to ponder though...

ReplyDeleteWow, I can't believe you got those cute cheetah flats from Payless! I want a pair! And a patent finish makes 'em easy to clean.
ReplyDeleteI love your leopard flats! I've been looking for one with a mary jane style, but no luck yet! I'm glad that your sweater was comfortable because usually sweater from AT itches me like crazy!!! I wouldn't reccommend you to force yourself to blog a specific days because that will turn out as a task instead of something you love to do! Plus, i think you are doing a great job already since I tend to visit your blog!
ReplyDeletelove the necklace! super cute!
